Nesting Fields in an Axis - SuperWEB2

You can add multiple fields to a single axis in your table, with the fields nested underneath each other. For example, the following is an excerpt from a table containing three fields nested on the row axis:

However, to build this table you must add each field one at a time.

If you attempt to select items from multiple fields and add then to the axis together, SuperWEB2 displays an error message:

To create a table with nested fields similar to the one show above, you would need to:

  1. Select the values from the Gender field and click Add to Row.

    SuperWEB2 creates the first version of the table:
  2. Select the values from the Marital Status field and click Add to Row.

    SuperWEB2 nests the field values on the rows:
  3. Select the values from the Occupation field and click Add to Row.

    SuperWEB2 nests the field values on the rows to complete the table shown above.

Once you have added the fields to the tables, you can change their position just by dragging and dropping the field name.

For example, drag and drop Occupation onto Marital Status to change the nesting order:
