TDD Control Files
The Textual Data Definition (TDD) standard requires a set of seven control text files, which define the layout of information in the data files. All seven control files must be present for a valid TDD file, although some of the files may be empty in some circumstances.
If you are creating your own TDD then you will need to create these files yourself using a text editor. You can use the examples provided with SuperCHANNEL or available for download from this documentation site as the basis for creating your own TDD.
This section describes the control files:
Replace the prefix <database> in the file name with the ID of the TDD. This can be any name you choose, but you must use the same name in each control file. This ID will be used as part of the connection string when you connect to the TDD using SuperCHANNEL.
